Hook Residence
The original 1920’s Spanish style residence in Venice was in a state of disrepair due to decades of neglect. The new owner wanted to create a feeling that was reminiscent of his childhood. The finishes of the existing house were restored or replaced and a new updated kitchen installed. The existing garage was removed and a new larger garage with and outdoor fireplace and seating area covered with a trellis was built. The project was planned to allow for the future addition of a second story Master Bedroom suite above the garage and a family room between the house and garage to connect the two structures.
